Lindy Burns is a psycho-somatic psychologist and holds her Master’s in Clinical Psychology, E-RYT 500, C-IAYTi, over 500 HR withLIFT Acrobatics, and 1,000s of hours in continuing education. As a social entrepreneur, she values the mind of a learner instead of the limited and fixed mindset of the knower. She is passionate and creative about life and has been an artist in the field of plants, animals, aquatics, and people since childhood. She takes a practical, evidence-based approach to her studies and teaching. Her mission is community enhancement through personal enrichment based on a belief that the relationship between community health and individual health is bidirectional. She has been a professor in Psychology and Kinesiology and a community developer in her South Texas Community for over 18 years. As an educator Lindy has 1,000s of hours of teaching beneath her belt and is the founder of Youga School of Yoga, a Yoga-Alliance teacher training. She develops classes, trainings, festivals, retreats, community events and programming that engage people around the science and art of holistic psychology and social reform.
