Kelsey McGill

Kelsey spent a majority of her life avoiding stretching due to severely tight hamstrings and avoiding yoga due to a severely short attention span.

It wasn't until the yoga instructor at her CrossFit gym introduced her to vinyasa flow in 2014 that she began to practice and appreciate asana.  Kelsey studied anatomy and physiology while earning her bachelor's degree in Biology and has studied nutrition in her free time since the age of 19.

She eared her Level 1 CrossFit Trainer's certificate in 2014 and has been coaching classes regularly since. She has been teaching yoga classes as part of her 200 hour teacher training and weaving yoga principles into her CrossFit classes.

Being a mother of two, Kelsey knows that dedication to wellness is not about "finding" the time to take care of oneself, but making the time.

Connor Carnes

Connor is a certified yoga instructor and also holds a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences from TAMUCC.

He does not favor any particular style of yoga over another. Instead, he believes a simple daily practice supplemented with occasional guidance from a skilled instructor is all it takes to obtain most of the physiological and psychological benefits of yoga. Connor is currently living in downtown San Antonio but is just as often camping at his family's ranch in South Texas where he works full time doing land management.

Besides yoga, his favorite forms of exercise are strength training and hiking. He enjoys playing music, outdoor activities and all of the simple pleasures life has to offer. If he had one wish he would use it to positively impact public health on a global level.

Fae “Deezy” Stovall

Yoga has played a key role in Fae becoming more mindful, aware and grounded. Yoga is freedom, tranquility and release; it’s her desire to help others discover their power poses/practice and move freely through life, grounded and mindful.

As a retired WFTDA (Woman’s Flat Track Derby Association) Roller Derby skater, she had an extensive background in fitness and conditioning, and thought yoga would be an easy, smart addition to her training. She admits it was smart, but not easy; she has found a joy and an inner peace with yoga the track could not provide.

As a roller derby skater Fae, was known as Willa Shankspear, the hard-hitting blocker and the bulldozing jammer.  In yoga, Fae is powerful, cheeky and embraces authenticity.  Her goal is to create a compassionate, non-judgmental atmosphere where her students can thrive.

In 2017 Fae completed her 200 hour Yoga teacher training with Youga-Yoga and  started her 300hr  training in Feb 2018.  Fae loves being a perpetual student of yoga and welcomes the wisdom of other yoga teachers to continue to craft her teaching skills and private practice.  She is the founder of Namaste Fitness where people of all ages, shapes and sizes can receive the many proven benefits of yoga and personal training .
